Irony

Irony refers to when one says something but actually means something else.

Sarcasm is when a person uses irony to mock something or someone. Sarcasm is mainly used to convey hilarity and for the amusement of others.

Satire is the use of humor to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices. Satire is a genre of literature that uses humor to ridicule, expose and criticize the vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings of others.
